Helped do a room for a family at church....a lot of repainting of furniture went into this one but it was all worth it in the end:) Spent a day at my parents and redid my little sisters rooms. Wanted to give Abby (the older one) a little bit more sophisticated/clean feel. Painted a side of the room gray, made a cool reading nook and rearranged the furniture. They both chose their bedspreads so i was working off of that. Car's room just painted a green wall and added some bamboo! Rearranged furniture. Hopefully they can keep them clean:) This was a really fun and time consuming project....props to my sister Katie for the hard work. It was quite labor intensive as well. You wouldn't think tearing old fabric off a piece wold be that hard but older furniture is usually better made (meaning a lot of staples) and b/c they were old they didn't really just come out cleanly. Thankfully we had a coach for this one (it was Katie and I's first try at this). Sadly it's still not completely done and I may not ever see the finished product but for what we did do, I'm proud:
